The detainee is Bidzina Esebua, brother of Badri Esebua, who has been wanted by the Georgian for an armed attack on the Bank of Georgia branch in Zugdidi.
As Bidzina Esebua's lawyer, Ioseb Janashia, says, the detainee does not plead guilty.

According to him, the trunk of this car did not close. He believes that it was at this time that a weapon was put in the car. We are talking about two hand grenades and a hundred rounds. Why would Bidzina need to keep these things in the trunk?" Janashia said.
