At the decision of the Tbilisi City Court, Ilia Jishkariani, a convicted member of the Tbilisi City Hall, will be authorized to fulfill his job-related duties starting tomorrow.
Ilia Jishkariani was forbidden to communicate with the witnesses who were to be questioned in court. These witnesses worked at Jishkariani's bureau; they have already been questioned, and the court ruling prohibiting Jishkariani to communicate with his employees was abolished. He is now entitled to enter his office.
The Administration of Isani District has accused MP Ilia Jishkariani of subjecting his assistant Tamta Todadze to physical and sexual violence. The lawsuit against him was filed on 30 September 2019, and he was released on bail bond in the amount of GEL 10,000.
