The Tbilisi City Court has imposed a GEL 1,500 bail on Shame Movement activist Nodar Rukhadze and sentenced Giorgi Mzhavanadze, another member of the same movement, to 3 days in prison.
Shame Movement activists deem the verdict illegal.
Four demonstrators, including three members of the Shame Movement - Nodar Rukhadze, Giorgi Mzhavanadze, and Lekso Machavariani - were detained during the rally yesterday. They attempted to take timber and firewood to the rally site, but police prevented them from doing so.
Yesterday, judge Tamar Meshveliani set a GEL 1,000 bail for Shame Movement activist Lekso Machavariani detained at the rally outside the parliament building.
