Prosecutor Mikheil Sadradze says that no specific date for enforcing similar judgments exists in the legislation, and no one knows when Melia will be jailed.
The lawyer has expressed hope that Melia will arrive at the corresponding body.
"Considering that a different body will take the corresponding measure, we cannot say anything now. However, no specific date is envisaged in the legislation. We do hope that the defendant will appear before the corresponding agency now," the prosecutor said.
Tbilisi City Court has sentenced the UNM head to imprisonment.
