Archil Talakvadze, the Chairperson of the Parliament of Georgia is meeting with members of the Parliamentary Majority behind closed doors.

According to the correspondent of report.ge, the meeting is being held in the office of Talakvadze. Reportedly, Talakvadze is meeting with majoritarian deputies, as well as ones who left the Majority today. A sitting of the Parliament Bureau may also be scheduled today.

The Parliament of Georgia rejected the bill on proportional electoral system at the plenary sitting.

138 deputies were registered for the first attempt, 139 deputies were registered the second time, 141 for the third attempt. 113 votes were needed for the amendments.
