According to EU Ambassador Carl Hartzell, he and his colleagues are perfectly well aware of the fact that opening borders require strenuous efforts, and it cannot be done by pushing some button.
"This needs serious work with individual members of the EU, with commercial air transporters. This is a combination of key players, and we need to work with them. However, Georgia is on the list of safe countries, and this is its best starting point. I congratulate you on being included on the list of safe countries and look forward to active cooperation with my colleagues to move forward," Hartzell declared.
