Chairman of Parliament, Archil Talakvadze, said that the ruling party stands ready to follow through with the dialogue with the opposition to achieve a positive outcome and deal with the serious challenges the country is now facing.
''We made it clear when the dialogue was held with Mr. Danielsson moderating it that the Georgian Dream ruling party stands ready to sign the agreement and produce a positive outcome. We stand ready to do so, and, hopefully, the opposition will reconsider its attitude as the public opinion survey results show that a large portion of our public is against the boycott,'' Talakvadze said, adding that the country's needs such as the restoration of the crippled economy, poverty relief, creation of new job opportunities, effective vaccination management, and the implementation of the international agenda are to be met.
