"Georgia is a strong ally of the United States, which has proven that growth in economic freedom results in development and investment," US Congressman Alex Mooney wrote onTwitter.
According to the congressman, Georgia is a country of the former Soviet bloc, which is now in the process of economic development after the implementation of free-market reforms. Alex Mooney also responded to the State Department's annual statement regarding the investment climate.
"Every year, the Department of State releases Investment Climate Statements that measure the int'l business environment in countries around the world.
I was proud to see high marks given to Georgia, a country I have traveled to while working on Financial Services.
