"Congratulations to the people and the government of Georgia on successfully administering the parliamentary election on October 31st. Conducting safe, high-turnout, contested elections in a free and fair environment in the midst of a global pandemic is a significant accomplishment,” reads the letter by Joe Wilson, member of the US Congress.
Georgia’s Foreign Ministry has released the letter.
As Wilson says, Georgia has made an important step for the advancement of democracy.
