“The Georgian army is strong, and we have soldiers who are heroes,” Irakli Gharibashvili, Minister of Defense of Georgia, responded to the President's statement regarding the army.
Zurabishvili's statement is unacceptable for Gharibashvili.
“Of course, the President's statement is unacceptable. As the Minister of Defense, I want to state that our army is strong. Our soldiers are honorable citizens of the country, and I will do everything to make army even stronger," Gharibashvili said.
"We do not have either an army, ammunition, or great economic potential to conquer the region, and we will never have them, but we do have immensely powerful tools called knowledge, science, and culture," Georgian President told the representatives of science on December 10.
