"It was not easy for me to go against the leader's decision", Dimitri Khundadze said.
According to him, the society should correctly perceive what happened.
“With my decision I supported the long-term, stable development of the country. It was a responsible decision for our country", Khundadze admitted.
Khundadze is one of those who did not support the bill to transition to proportional system.
The Parliament of Georgia rejected the bill on proportional electoral system at the plenary sitting.
