Donald Tusk, the former president of the European Council and acting president of the European People's Party, responds to UNM head Nika Melia's arrest on Twitter, defining it as 'extremely concerning."
Tusk stresses that Georgia cannot be left alone in these hard times.
"We should not forget that pro-European and democratic forces in Ukraine, Belarus, and Georgia need our support. The latest developments in Tbilisi, the arrest of our friend Nika Melia and our colleagues, are extremely concerning. We cannot live them alone in this critical moment in history," he tweeted.
