UNM member Eka Kherkheulidze is waiting for permission to visit Mikheil Saakashvili. Kherkheulidze appeals to the authorities not to delay her entry into the penitentiary institution in order to know in time the position of the third president regarding his placement in the Gori military hospital. According to Kherkheulidze, Saakashvili demanded a meeting with Nika Gvaramia and the Ukrainian consul.
"I am asking the government to be prudent, not to hinder my attempt here, because the sooner I enter, the sooner this issue will be resolved, and we will know Mikheil Saakashvili's position towards the transition. Otherwise, if no one of us is present, the force will be used against his will, and he will be moved from one institution to another," Kherkheulidze said.
