Giga Bokeria, a leader of the European Georgia party, has responded to the recent developments in the US. He said that the US is the world's leading powerhouse, with robust democracy and democratic institutions, and, therefore, liberal democracy is safe there.
Mr. Bokeria also advised 'people who have swallowed baits thrown by Putin's entourage and his advocates' to calm down.
In Bokeria's words, the US's will to provide Georgia with its backing is critical. "The US is a leader of the free world," he declared.
