“When law enforcer commits a crime without taking into account the interests of the system as a whole, we will be much tougher. Our approach here will be absolutely ruthless and irreconcilable”, the Prime Minister responded to the murder of 35-year-old Davit Mumladze.
Giorgi Gakharia noted that the existence of policemen in the given case is extremely difficult but this single fact should not overshadow the work of the law enforcement and those who serve the country in dignity.
Six people have been charged in the Rustavi. Five of them are in custody. Zurab Jgharkava charged with premeditated murder is still wanted.
The corps of 35-year old Davit Mumladze was found on the bank of Mtkvari river in Rustavi on October 5. According to the information he was stabbed 30 times. His family had been searching for him since October 1st.
