The Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Gakharia, paid tribute to the memory of the cadets and addressed the public with the speech of the historical review. He emphasized the role of the cadets who resisted the Bolsheviks and sacrificed their lives in 1921, and hence, became the founders of the long fight for the country’s independence. Gakharia spoke about continues fight with the occupant country persisting nowadays by the occupation of 20% of the country.
Gakharia laid a wreath on the grave of cadets. The Head of the country Government, President, Chairman of the Parliament, Minister of Defense, attended the service at Khareba Church located in the Parliament’s inner ground.
