"Georgia has criminal politicians, not political prisoners," Georgian Dream Chairman Irakli Khobakidze declared.
In Kobakhidze's words, voting fraud claims are also baseless, and the opposition is making false allegations. "There are obviously opinion clashes, and this has a significant bearing on the agreement points. Mr. Danielsson has a challenging task to deal with; however, I still hope the agreement will end the process," Kobakhidze stated.
Christian Danielsson, the representative of European Council President Charles Michel, has met with both the Georgian Dream and opposition political parties' members. He plays the role of a mediator between the government and the opposition.
