Georgian Dream Chairman Irakli Kobakhidze says that Georgian ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili's decision to arrive or not to arrive in Georgia will harm the UNM.

''Saakashvili's decision to enter or not enter Georgia will harm the UNM, but the country will breathe a sigh of relief after he is put behind bars.

The law does not allow us not to incarcerate him; letting him enjoy freedom might even have been better for us. Imagine Saakashvili walking down the street, an actual clown.

All in all, he helps us with our election chances as we know people fear the National Movement's possible coming into power, and any similar act activates this fear,'' Kobakhidze told Rustavi 2.

Georgian ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili has booked a Kyiv-Tbilisi flight ticket.

Saakashvili said in his video address that he plans to enter Georgia on 2 October election day.
