Head of the Department for Foreign Policy Affairs of Azerbaijan's Presidential Administration, Hikmat Hajiyev, said that there are no problematic issues between Georgia and Azerbaijan, and the discrepancy about border demarcation is an ordinary issue, which must be resolved in a civilized manner.
"We deem Georgia our ally, and we know Georgia views us in the same manner. Georgia-Azerbaijan constitutes one of the best examples of regional cooperation, with this beneficial for both countries. Additionally, we have active political relations. Therefore, I think the issue of the historic monument must be settled in this context. I do hope that Georgians and Azerbaijanis will be rational enough to resolve all issues through dialogue," Hajiyev declared.
