“Four years ago, on March 28, 2017, our country and every citizens obtained the right to visa-free travel to the EU countries. It was a great success, which was the result of the unshakable will of the Georgian people to become a full member of the Western community, as well as the efforts and tireless work of the Georgian Dream government,” Irakli Kobakhidze, Chairman of the ruling Georgian Dream party, said.
He reiterated that in 2024 Georgia would submit an official application for full membership in the European Union.
