Minister of Defense Irakli Garibashvili has elaborated on the Georgian Defense Forces (GDF) Development Plan.

"Despite the global pandemic, the last year proved immensely successful for our army. This year, we have drawn up more ambitious and challenging plans focusing on purchasing modern military equipment, drones, artillery, etc. Additionally, we have recently formulated a ten-year development plan. We plan to work on realizing the plan and completely modernize our armed forces to meet NATO standards," the Minister said in his interview with POSTV.
