"The country will not be able to live through another lockdown; they are deliberately leading the country to bankruptcy," Giorgi Chaladze, a member of the National Movement and head of the National Laboratory of Genetics, stated.
According to Chaladze, the selective restrictions announced by the government only serve political purposes and are not related to virus prevention.
"From the very first day of the pandemic in Georgia, every decision made is a political one. If this were to control the virus, they had to make a complex decision to contain the virus. Of course, these announced local, selective restrictions serve only to pursue policies and hinder the opposition," Giorgi Chaladze said.
