Leader For Georgia party Giorgi Gakharia defined Georgian Dream Chairman Irakli Kobakhidze's statement as ''a scared man talking straight gibberish.''
Mr. Kobakhidze said earlier in his statement with Rustavi 2 that on Feb 17, a day earlier before Giorgi Gakharia's resignation, they were provided with information from Kyiv on the UNM's plan to form an alternative government and ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili's intention to enter Georgia from Sarpi. Irakli Kobakhidze voiced his doubts on Gakharia and Saakshvili being in cahoots and planning the coup.
Members of Giorgi Gakharia's team addressed the Prosecutor's Office of Georgia and the State Security Service and asked them to look into Irakli Kobakhidze's statement.
