Strategy Aghmashenebeli leader Sergo Chikladze says their MPs will approve the formation of the investigation commission to look into ex-leader Mikheil Saakashvili's case.
In Chikladze's words, the commission must also be founded on the 5 July events and corruption-related cases. ''Parliamentary investigation commission is one of the essential leverages in the hands of the opposition. Our faction had a similar initiative earlier _ we sought to found the 5 July Events Investigation Commission, but this failed to come to fruition as not all opposition members were present in the parliament back then,'' Chikladze stated.
Ex-leader Saakashvili is willing to have the temporary investigation commission look into his case.
