"This, of course, is the recognition and victory of our state; I would like to thank all the public officials who were involved in this process, who represented our country with dignity, and firmly defended our positions," Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili told journalists in response to a question about the victory of Georgia in the Strasbourg court.
According to Irakli Gharibashvili, the representatives of the "National Movement," with Saakashvili's delegation, signed a practically treacherous resolution while the current government proved the innocence of the country.
"People are listening to us, and I want to remind everyone how cowardly Saakashvili behaved during the August war - how he left our hero military officers. After the August war, it seemed that the former government "defended" the positions and interests of our country - they signed the capitulation. Representatives of the "National Movement," with the delegation of Saakashvili, signed a treacherous resolution. We have proved the innocence of our country, the victory, and the recognition of our country. This is the difference between our government and the previous one," said the Prime Minister.
In connection with the August 2008 war, Georgia has another victory in the Strasbourg court.
