The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili has felt that an urban renewal project will be launched in all municipalities of the country. He said this during the presentation of the 10-year plan of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development.
The Prime Minister noted that the government's main focus would be on the development and renewal of the regions in the coming years.
"An urban renewal project will be launched in all 63 municipalities, which means bringing European development, European spirit to all municipalities. Almost 3,000 villages do not have quality water. The challenge of maintenance-rehabilitation of both intercity and inland roads, as well as the completion of the construction of central highways, remains. Our priority will be to develop and renew the regions in the coming years," Irakli Gharibashvili said.
