"We understand that this was a difficult defeat for the opposition, but when people reject you eight times, and you lose the elections, it means a lot, and maybe this should be another lesson for them," Irakli Gharibashvili stated at the government session.
According to the Prime Minister, the government is ready for constructive cooperation with the opposition.
"We now have a three-year period of peaceful development, and I would like to call on everyone, including the opposition, to understand this well. The time has come for us not to put our narrow partisan interests above the interests of the country. Our state's interests and people should be the main thing for us and not the narrow partisan interests. Therefore, if the opposition wants to hold a real debate on the case, the parliament and the Cabinet of Ministers and the government are ready to cooperate in a constructive manner with the opposition, as this is our common country," Gharibashvili said.
