The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili spoke about his visit to Brussels scheduled for March 15-17 at today's government sitting.
According to Gharibashvili, high-level meetings will be held within the framework of the visit, both in the European Commission, as well as in the European Council and NATO.
"On March 16, the sixth session of the Association Council will take place, where we will present the significant progress of our country on the path of European integration in many areas. I would like to thank once again the President of the European Council, Mr. Charles Michel. We greatly appreciate his involvement in our country. As for President Michel's Personal Representative Christian Danielsson's visit to Georgia, we welcome his arrival and participation in the EU-supported political dialogue. We are confident that his participation will contribute to the constructive management of the processes. I would like to emphasize that we are ready to continue the constructive dialogue mode. We fully share the Council of Europe's recommendation and advice that the opposition and the government must reach a common agreement as soon as possible so that our Parliament can begin normal work and return the country to normal political life. Most importantly, we should all be guided by the interests of the Georgian people and our state," Irakli Gharibashvili said.
