Irakli Kobakhidze, the chairperson of the Georgian Dream party, and Mamuka Mdinaradze, leader of the parliamentary majority, met with Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili.
As Kobakhidze told reporters after leaving the Atoneli residence, the initiator of the national agreement is the President of Georgia, and it is her prerogative to lead this process.
According to him, the vision of the "Georgian Dream" is that the perpetrators and crimes need to be assessed, and at times like this, they must act in accordance with the rule of law.
"We are not talking about an agreement; we are talking about reducing the degree of polarization. I think the main way we can lead to a substantial reduction in the degree of polarization is to weaken the criminal political force. We will do everything to weaken this political force as much as possible in the future," Irakli Kobakhidze said.
