"Election preparations should enter an active phase, first of all, we will nominate majoritarian candidates," said the former Speaker of Parliament Irakli Kobakhidze.
According to the member of the parliamentary majority, work on the list will continue after that.
"I was appointed as the head of the election headquarters based on my experience. I will be involved in the works every day. I am confident that these elections will end with another victory for the Georgian Dream.
As for the opposition's assessments, our election campaign will be built on the future. We need to talk to the public about how we see it, including emerging from a pandemic-related crisis. The public is interested in this and not in the quarrels they hear from the parties. Our campaign will be positive. Those who left the ruling party will not be on the Georgian Dream's electoral list," Kobakhidze said.
Irakli Kobakhidze, the party's executive secretary, got appointed as the head of the Georgian Dream's election headquarters.
