Irakli Sesiashvili, the Chairman of Parliament's Defense and Security Committee, responded to the President's statement regarding the army. Sesiashvili thinks that when making statements about the army, one should be very careful.
"This is very important for the patriotic upbringing of our youth, and we must always emphasize the importance of our soldiers and officers for the country. In this case, the context of President's statement was focused on education and culture," Irakli Sesiashvili said.
"We do not have either an army, ammunition, or great economic potential to conquer the region, and we will never have them, but we do have immensely powerful tools called knowledge, science, and culture," Georgian President told the representatives of science on December 10.
