Vice-Speaker Kakha Kuchava has met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Georgia Dursun Hasanov.
The two parties reportedly discussed further cooperation and measures to be carried out within the Georgia-Azerbaijan Friendship Group.
"Parliamentary elections will be held in Azerbaijan on Feb 9. The Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan said that they plan to form a friendship group with the Parliament of Georgia in the immediate future, and they showed readiness for bilateral visits. We also discussed other measures planned to be implemented over the year," Kuchava said.
