Russian Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs, Grigory Karasin, says Russia stands ready to discuss the issue of the resumption of flights with Georgia.
In Karasin's words, the issue will be resolved sooner or later.
The Russian high official failed to name the precise date when the corresponding decision would be made. However, he expressed hope that the meeting with the Special Representative of the Prime Minister of Georgia for Relations with Russia, Zurab Abashidze, would be held in September or October.
''Everything depends on the pandemic,'' he stressed.
On 22 July, Andrey Rudenko said that the issue would be discussed after the improvement of the epidemiological situation.
