Lelo for Georgia Leader, Mamuka Khazaradze, opens a regional office in Telavi. He presented the local team and the head of the office, Vasil Kobiashvili.
Mamuka Khazaradze talked about Kakheti development plan during the opening ceremony. He emphasized three major directions. According to the Party Leader, there are perspectives to develop wine production, income increase of wine grape producers, small and medium-size business development, and wine tourism business expansion.
“We have a concrete vision and plan on how to develop Telavi and Kakheti. Kakheti must join the list of ten major wine-producing countries in the world. We plan to transfer wine tourism to the high-income segment businesses, and what is most important, we also plan to develop wine bioproduction, and this will be accomplished as soon as possible. We also plan to build an international airport in Kakheti, wine museum, to host international wine competitions.”- Khazaradze said.
