The statement released by public Movement Lelo, calls on Salome Zurabishvili to immediately apologize to soldiers, according to the Movement the content of the speech of the President is anti-state. Lelo addressed the Minister of Defense and Commander of the Defense Forces and urged them to react on Zurabishvili's statement.
"The President, in her statement, first and foremost insulted thousands of our patriotic soldiers, veterans, international missionaries, and fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives for their country. As well as troops on international missions, whose heroic service is the potential for the country's armed forces," reads the statement by Lelo Movement.
"We do not have either an army, ammunition, or great economic potential to conquer the region, and we will never have them, but we do have immensely powerful tools called knowledge, science, and culture," Georgian President told the representatives of science.
