For me, it was pleasant to listen to European MPs’ statements and emotions when they stressed they’re waiting for Georgia’s official application in 2024, Georgian Parliamentary Speaker Kakha Kuchava stated.
In his words, the main message the Georgian delegation received in Brussels is ‘Georgia in the EU.’
“This is the reality our country faces. We discussed the steps to be made in these 3,5 years to reach the outcome. It is the greatest support. It was emotionally felt from them. They welcome the progress we demonstrated,” Kakha Kuchava said.
In his words, MEPs did not want to observe the political deadlock in Georgia.
“They stressed Charles Michel’s involvement in the process,’’ Kuchava added.
