The third president of Georgia responds to the Armenia-Azerbaijan military conflict, saying there is no alternative to peace. According to Mikheil Saakashvili, the war in the neighborhood is catastrophic for Georgia. Saakashvili noted that the support for separatism is unacceptable.
"I will not let anyone oppress Georgian Armenians, but for Georgia territorial integrity is the basis of existence, our belief, we can never support separatism. Issues like this can be resolved through negotiations. I hate nothing more than war," Saakashvili says.
The third president of Georgia and the candidate for the post of Prime Minister also talks about Georgia's role in the conflict and says that our country lost its authority, and today, the Georgian government has no value for the international community. Mikheil Saakashvili says that after the October 31 elections, if the Georgian Dream is defeated and the opposition wins, Georgia will regain its regional importance and leadership.
Mikheil Saakashvili said in a video address released a few days ago that Nagorno-Karabakh is the territory of Azerbaijan, and nothing can change that.
