"We do not consider snap elections, with any related issues, and we are not going to stop the functions of state bodies," Archil Talakvadze, one of the ruling Georgian Dream party leaders, posted on Facebook.
In his words, the dialogue and agreement with the opposition are possible, but it requires willpower and the right decisions.
"Despite the pandemic, about two million of our citizens took part in the elections, and we have no right to question their choice. On other issues, within the constitution's framework, we are conducting a dialogue with the opposition, and an agreement is possible. However, the final stage requires more willpower and making the right decisions from the opposition in an environment free of destructive elements. We want to thank the ambassadors for supporting the dialogue," Archil Talakvadze said.
