Parliamentary majority leader says three questions were answered

"At the hearing in the US Senate, answers were made to three essential and topical questions," leader of the Georgian parliamentary majority Mamuka Mdinaradze stated.

In his words, in the US, the term "violation of the law" applied to Nika Melia; therefore, he cannot be considered a "political prisoner."

He also remarked that the Senate confirmed that the 2020 parliamentary elections were held in a fair and competitive environment.

Third, Mdinaradze claimed the Georgian government had not changed and will not change the pro-Western direction, which was taken back in 2012, when the former chairman of the ruling Georgian Dream party, Bidzina Ivanishvili, was the PM.
