"Our goal is to win convincingly, to succeed in the first round nationwide,'' Georgian Parliamentary Speaker Archil Talakvadze says.

"However, the runoff is also a part of democratic elections,'' he added.

"If we need the second round, we will engage in legal processes," Archil Talkvadze concluded.

In his words, compared with 2016, the support of the ruling team has increased.

"The government will ensure free democratic elections nationwide and will not allow anyone to attack our democracy and the achievement, called free elections," Parliamentary Speaker Archil Talakvadze stated.
