The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, began official meetings in the morning. At the moment, the President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili is meeting him at the Orbeliani Palace.
The meeting started a few minutes ago. After the face-to-face meeting, the President of Georgia and the President of the European Council will make joint statements to the media.
Charles Michel is also scheduled to meet with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili, Chairperson of the Parliament of Georgia, Archil Talakvadze, and political party leaders.
The President of the European Council will visit the occupation line near the village of Khurvaleti.
Charles Michel will open a new office of the EU Delegation in Tbilisi, where he will host the leaders of the opposition parties.
Charles Michelle will leave Georgia tomorrow, March 2.
