The Committee of Regional Policy and Self-Governance has voted in favor of the 2020 budget.
Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kakauridze said that the 2020 budget is aimed at the completion of the government plan and all parameters required for economic stability have been maintained.
He also said the budget is focused on the civilians as it envisages the improvement of the social system.
Committee Head Zaza Gabunia said the budget meets all needs and requirements.
The discussions over the main financial document of the country will last until the end of the week.
The final hearing will be held at the Financial-Budgetary Committee on October 18.
To note, the 2020 budget was defined in the amount of 14,200,000,000 GEL.
