Georgia celebrated the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of Azerbaijan.
The Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Georgia Faig Guliyev, the Director-General of SOCAR Energy Georgia Mahir Mammedov, and other staff of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Georgia laid flowers at the bust of the National Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev to mark the 103rd anniversary of the First Republic.
They also paid tribute to the memory of Azerbaijani public figures Hasan bey Aghayev and Fatali Khan Khoyski and laid flowers at their graves.
On May 28, events dedicated to Republic Day will end in Marneuli. The final match of the kickboxing tournament will be held, which is dedicated to the national holidays of Georgia and Azerbaijan. The winners will be awarded, and a concert program with the participation of representatives of Azerbaijani and Georgian art will be presented.
