After the water cannons, Georgia’s riot police used teargas in the vicinity of Georgia’s Central Election Commission, where protests are underway.

Protesters are warned of measures to be taken against them unless they refuse to leave the area.

Protesters that were dismantled by water cannons returned near the Central Election Commission building and made a ‘live chain.’

Protesters and police clashed in the vicinity of the building of Georgia’s Central Election Commission.

Protesters tried to dismantle the barrier near the building. They also threw stones.

Several Georgian citizens got injuries from the water cannon and thrown stones.

Police used water cannons several times against the protesters.

Riot police remain on the scene.

Earlier today, protests were launched in the center of Tbilisi. The opposition parties gathered to protest the October 31 parliamentary election results.

They did not recognize the election results, demanding snap elections.

The opposition presented an ultimatum to the government to dismiss CEC head Tamar Zhvania. When the ultimatum expired, they headed to the Central Election Building.
