The temporary parliamentary inquiry commission set up connected with the election results will be composed of four deputies.

The opposition and the majority will have equal representation in the commission. The decision was made by the Committee on Procedural Issues and Rules.

According to the chairperson of the committee, Guram Macharashvili, the members of the commission of inquiry will decide who will be the head.

"There will be four members in the commission of inquiry, there will be two quotas for the majority, and 2 for the factionless MPs. Within three days, both the Georgian Dream and the opposition have the opportunity to nominate their candidates. Following the regulations, the first organizational session of the temporary commission of inquiry should be held, and at this session, the chairperson and secretary should be elected with the regulation approved," Guram Macharashvili said.

The Citizens and other opposition parties will not take part in the commission's work, although the European Socialists are involved in the work. According to Fridon Injia, if the Citizens decide to get involved in the process, they will be given one seat.

"We will participate, but if the Citizens want to be included in those two quotas, any of our members will leave and give up their seats. I had a proposal that the officials who have information and want to participate in the work of the commission be registered. The conclusion of the commission will be useful in any case," Fridon Injia said.
