When the agreement is completed with five EU countries, everything ensuring the safety of citizens of Georgia and these countries is considered," Vice-Speaker of the Parliament Gia Volski said. In his words, all efforts will be made to maintain the status quo.
"When talks about resumption of flights and travel are launched with the EU, everything is considered in detail. The opposition aims to mislead the public by making it think that we are making mistakes," Volski said, adding that they cannot let visitors put Georgian citizens' health at risk.
"Fo the government, opening all doors is easier than introducing restrictions. However, possible complications ensued from this decision are not the leftists' responsibility. They are irresponsible people, who do not plan to assume any responsibility," Volski declared.
