United States Ambassador to Georgia Kelly Degnan expressed hope that UNM head Nika Melia will take his seat in the parliament.
In Degnan's words, political leaders must agree on details, and the U.S. cannot make decisions on similar matters. According to Degnan, Nika Melia, who is the leader of the largest opposition party, must make his own decision.
However, the U.S. ambassador thinks that the UNM head must deem it critical to get involved in the democratic process and represent his voters.
