The European Georgia party has staged a boycott against the tenth convocation of the parliament, according to the party leaders.
Also, the party does not plan to vie for votes in the second round.
"The European Georgia has refused to get its share of seats in the parliament the legitimacy of which it does not recognize. We also do not intend to participate in the runoff. Our decision is far from being an ordinary protest or boycott. We have always supported a diverse parliament, but now we are faced with sheer fraud and disgraceful defiance of people," Bakradze declared.
According to the CEC data, the European Georgia party has won five mandates. The Alliance of Patriots has also rejected its mandates.
Other parties' decisions will become known today.
The results of the counted electoral votes are as follows:
Georgian Dream - 48.15%;
United Opposition "United National Movement-Power is in Unity - 27.14 %;
European Georgia - 3.78%
The Alliance of Patriots - 3.14%
Lelo - 3.15%
Giorgi Vashadze - Strategy Aghmashenebeli party - 3.15%
Girchi [pinecone] party - 2.89%
Aleko Elisashvili -"Citizens" party - 1.33%
Labor party - 1%
As for other parties, they have won less than 1% of votes. International observers confirmed that Georgia's parliamentary elections were competitive and fundamental freedoms were respected.
