In the framework of the visit to Japan, Georgian President, Salome Zurabishvili hosted representatives of tourism and wine sectors of Japan during the business lunch.The information is taken from Salome Zurabishvili Facebook site.
According to the President they discussed the topics of tourism potential of Georgia, Georgian wine history and uniqueness.
“Georgian wine is a part of civilization and Japanese know its value”, writes Zurabishvili.
Tadashi Shomura, the President of Japan Association of Travel Agents, stated that there are several important factors related to tourism in Georgia, including nature, culture, climate and traditional cuisine.
“On my opinion Georgia has everything for success though the awareness on Georgia has to be raised in Japan.Last year we implemented several activities related to the awareness raising.From this point of view, the President’s visit is very important for popularization of Georgia and establishment of touristic cooperation between Japan and Georgia”, - mentioned the President of Japan Association of Travel Agents.
The President of Georgia is accomplishing one-week business visit to Japan.
