Almost a million citizens gathered in Chile to demand equality.The peaceful march of protest took place in Santiago.According to the capital city Mayor, it is a historical moment for the country, in which the marches of protest held in the previous week ended up with the victims from the side of the protestors.
The country President, Sebastian Pinera, said he had got the “main message of the protestors”.
The marches of protest are taking place in all central cities of Chile.According to the analytical data more than 5% of the population participate in the protest.The demand of the President’s resignation was also declared during the march of protest.
